Drill Rig

B57 Drill Rig

The B57 is a multipurpose drilling rig, suitable for geotechnical site investigations, SPT and environmental applications.

Multiple purpose outfit

The B57 is an American mechanically driven drill rig designed for geotechnical and environmental site investigations. Due to its multipurpose outfit it is also suitable for drilling bore-holes for domestic water supply.

Additional SPT-unit

The rig easily handles hollow stem and continuous flight auger drilling along with rotary and core drilling. For geotechnical investigations the rig is fitted with an additional SPT-unit to enable SPT’s according to the ASTM D1586 standard. Also split spoon sampling can be carried out efficiently.

Efficient operation

The rig is designed for efficient operation in hard rock and unconsolidated sediments.

Because of its limited size and the facts that the rig is truck mounted and self-supporting make the equipment ideally suited for operations in the Caribbean.
